SDS Employer Recruitment Incentive (All Regions)

  • Incentive: £1000 (50 employees +) £2000 (49 employees max) 

Eligibility:

  • 16-19 yrs Progressed to MA/employment within 26 weeks of leaving GRFW/ TPA currently employed
  • 16-19 yrs ex-offender/ looked after or care leaver background
  • 18 yrs-6 months unemployed starting MA from 1st April 2011 onwards
  • Must commence MA within 3 months of employment start date
Skills Development Scotland

Flexible Training Opportunites (All Regions)

  • Incentive: 50% Contribution towards training costs (excl training required by legislation or statute i.e. H&S or in-house delivery)

Eligibility:

  • Employers with max 150 employees
  • Registered by 31st March 2012
  • Training completed by 30th June 2012
  • Up to a maximum of £500 per claim i.e. training cost £1200 – refund £500
  • An employer can apply for funding for up to 10 claims.
Glasgow City Council

Commonwealth Jobs Fund (Glasgow)

  • Incentive: 50% wage subsidy for 12 months max £6,507 (35 hrs per week)

Eligibility:

  • Glasgow residents only
  • SME less than 250 employees
  • Additional jobs, not displacement
  • Permanent  jobs (min 18 month contract) 25-40 hrs per week
  • Glasgow living wage £7.15 per hr
  • 18-24 yrs unemployed 26 week (pre employment programmes accepted) available until 31st March 2013

Commonwealth Apprentice Initiative (Glasgow)

  • Incentive: 50% wage subsidy for 12 months max £6,507 (35 hrs per week)

Eligibility:

  • Glasgow residents only
  • SME less than 250 employees
  • Additional jobs, not displacement

West Dunbartonshire Council

New Employment Wage Subsidy (West Dunbartonshire)

  • Incentive: Maximum pay £140 per week for up to 13 weeks and maximum 50%  of gross pay (Payment made at end of 13 weeks).

Eligibility:

  • West Dunbartonshire businesses & residents only
  • Less than 250 employees
  • 16-40 hrs per  week
  • Minimum wage & not exceed £7 per hr
  • Unemployed min 3 months over 3 yr period
  • 16-19yrs  NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training)
  • Additional employment opportunities not displaced
