Business Administration Level 3 Modern Apprentice - TIGERS Ltd

I came in early to set my calendar for the tasks I had been asked to complete. I never really noticed the amount of tasks I was asked to be involved in once I had completed my calendar which was completely full. Today was just my weekly set tasks which flew by but I can tell this is going to be a tough week with the deadlines I have too meet. Challenging but a great opportunity to show what I am capable of it.

I came in a little earlier as my calendar was really full today and I felt like I never gave myself enough time which anyone should really double check when looking to completing a task correctly and to a high standard. I felt like today flew by and was challenging due to not giving myself enough time to get my tasks fully completed so I decided to stay behind a bit to close of the tasks as Friday was the deadline for them to be completed.

This morning I decided to look over my calendar and ensure I had gave myself enough time to complete my tasks after being really busy yesterday. After this was done I went on with tasks I had to complete which was tasks me and my Corporate Manager discussed at my one to one review last week. This time I ensured that all font layouts were double checked after my mishap with the font mistake last week. I felt today was very productive and my work was very accurate after rearranging the timescale I had set for certain tasks so before I left tonight I decided to check the time-scale for the rest of the week.

This morning I had registrations to do for the new group that started, I have completed this a few times now and I am more confident in regards to not using my step by step guide as much and very minimum changes to be made once the first compliance check is completed compared to the very first time completing this task which took up more time. I then had a task to complete in regards to pricing equipment and training courses which I felt ran smoothly as I could analysis and pull together the equipment/courses I felt would be more beneficial for our company.

Each Friday my whole day is set out to complete registers which details everyone that is currently on the TIGERS programme. This is a great opportunity that shows the potential I have as it consists of pivot tables/conditional formatting which I didn't know how to complete before I began my modern apprenticeship. This shows that my knowledge has expanded whilst completing my modern apprenticeship and I able to carry out a lot more tasks than I was able to do a while ago. The registers is a very timely/challenging task to complete but I feel I am becoming more comfortable. I feel my colleague won’t need to double check my work soon which would be a great achievement for myself. This task is double checked for the correct grammar/layout and to ensure it is of a high standard before they get printed. The registers are viewed by the whole company and used for a variety of different things within our business so they need to be accurate.

Summary of my week

I felt this week was quite challenging due to my work load increasing this week with tasks I had been given from my one to one review and also the admin meeting but I felt confident after knowing that I had completed all tasks that was set in my calendar and I could close this off and start next week as a fresh.
